| New Orleans-style Gumbo A Go-Go
I don't know why it is that Cajun and Creole food so rarely translates well outside of Louisiana. Is it like San Francisco sourdough bread -- it needs something in the air? Maybe that's fair. I don't know that I'd care for a New Orleans version of Chicago-style pizza, either. While Gumbo A Go-Go, the newest local entry into the market, is no more authentic than most, this cute, little counter-service spot has several things going for it, such as a handy location near the Palatine train station; fast, friendly service; low prices; and great, homey desserts. Just north of the tracks in downtown Palatine, the 45-seat eatery opened in August. Owners Patrick and Suzanne Reardon gave up careers in the horse-racing business, selling their horse to launch the restaurant. Patrick, a native of Ireland, does the cooking; Suzanne, who grew up in England, handles buying the beer and wine.

In something of a back-to-the-future about-face, Mr Lund yesterday told Media that rather than cutting staff they would be redeployed to work on email, the search function and a new aggregated news site. "The strategy is simple. We want to make Yahoo7 the first stop for Australians going online," he said. "We can never be everything for everyone but we can certainly be the place where they start. If we're serious about winning then we've got to win in front page, mail, news and search." Yahoo7 is beefing up its search team and is eyeing a January relaunch of the service in an effort to regain ground from Google, which now has more than 85per cent of the Australian market. "Google has a bigger market share in Australia than anywhere else in the world," Mr Lund said. "I'll be throwing the kitchen sink at fixing search.

If there are a lot of kids I hear more talking before, during, and after the movie. So to address your question...I don't know if there is a right or wrong to when to talk at the movies. I guess if you're not annoying a lot of people around you and it is only one person(who maybe had a bad day or something) then quieting down when the movie starts seems okay with me. Karen (in Phillips,WI) J.T.Hey Jeff if movie matters where a factor I have ask you when was the last time you've been to a movie theater because things have changed to the point where they do ask you to turn off your cell phone before the movie starts if yours went off but I think that guy in front of you that turned his head toward you and said what he said should have minded his own buisness lol! This Wisconsin loss means that Obama's surging momentum will grow even more powerful. New polls showing Obama closing in Hillary's Texas redoubt provide more evidence. The race tilted decisively toward Obama after his wins last week in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. With this Wisconsin iceberg now slamming into the Clinton campaign, I'm reminded of the scene in Cameron's Titanic where the ship's designer rushes to the bridge, unrolls the construction plans, and informs the Captain that despite the small shudder of the impact and the normal feeling on the bridge, the great ship is doomed. They're unrolling the plans tonight in Hillaryland. They'll be vicious infighting about various desperate Hail Mary plans -- like today's foolish trial balloon about trying to steal committed Obama delegates -- and lots of scapegoating top Clinton campaign officials.
